We’re baaaaaack! The Hadley Clover team has been busy at work planning, networking, creating, researching, analyzing, and creating some more, with some incredible new clients and, of course, our OGs. Here’s a look into what’s fueling us this month as we head into what promises to be our busiest season yet.
WHAT WE’RE LISTENING TO
HEATHER: We’re roadtripping in Europe with my 4 and 7 year olds, so the current playlist consists of a lot of Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Kidz Bop.
CONNOR: I’m really loving bass-heavy windows-down jams right now, and Mt. Joy’s new single Coyote has been on repeat.
JEN: Fiction audiobooks to take a breather, Heather Cox Richardson’s political breakdown so I can ignore the barrage of news headlines, and so much Shakira - my almost-13-year-old has discovered her music (plus 90’s alternative) and wants to see her this summer, so there’s lots of dancing happening.
WHAT WE’RE WEARING
HEATHER: Anything and everything from Oysho.
CONNOR: Spring uniform is these super-soft wash, comfy drawstring pants (the pockets are so big) and ultra-flattering halter tops (similar linked here).
JEN: Loving that wide leg jeans and high tops are both back, and digging them out to drag through the April mud!
WHAT WE’RE DRINKING
HEATHER: A ridiculous amount of café con soya and Aperol spritz.
CONNOR: Celcius (especially Cherry Lime and Orange Creamsicle), plus just so much water.
JEN: Ginger lime tea and Celebrate seltzer.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
HEATHER: Adolescence *sigh*
JEN: The tweens in this house seem to have control over the TV, so we’ve been watching the Celtics play, the reality show Extracted, and live camera feeds of trains, animals, artists, and more.
CONNOR: The White Lotus - this cast is everything and I’m so smitten with Natasha Rothwell.
WHAT WE’RE OBSESSING OVER
HEATHER: A new client that we are SO excited to be working with - it’s going to be a very big, very involved project that we’re really proud to be a part of.
CONNOR: Mums Swedish Candy.
JEN: SPRING! The sound and the smell, garden plans, inflating bike tires again, blue herons building a nest at our pond.
WHAT WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT
Heather and her family are coming home, Jen’s celebrating small wins, and Connor’s preparing for a big move into a new home. We’ve got a lot of great work in the pipeline right now that we’re super excited to share, and are thrilled that we’ll be able to celebrate with our people soon!
When I asked Jen about this one, she said ‘Tiny wins - they pop up a lot, both planned and out of the blue, and they keep me excited for the feeling of the next tiny win.’ I love that very much, so let’s all be on the look out for our own tiny wins as we face a lot of *gestures around at the state of the world right now* general uncertainty.
