Turning Expertise Into an Engaged Community

GardenFit has spent years helping gardeners move smarter, stay stronger, and enjoy the hobby they love for longer. Backed by a nationally broadcast PBS series and an upcoming book, the brand had a wealth of expertise—but an opportunity to reach people far beyond television.

Our challenge was to transform that expertise into an engaging digital experience that inspired people to keep learning, sharing, and showing up every day.

The Opportunity

Educational content often struggles on social media. It's easy to become informative without becoming memorable. Rather than treating GardenFit's social channels as a place to simply promote episodes or share gardening tips, we saw an opportunity to build a true community around healthy aging, movement, and the joy of gardening.

The goal wasn't to chase trends, but it was to create content that educated, encouraged, and empowered people while remaining authentic to Madeline's voice and decades of expertise.

What We Built

Working alongside the GardenFit team, we developed an ongoing content strategy that balanced education with personality, helping viewers connect with the brand beyond the television screen.

Our work includes:

  • Social media strategy and content planning

  • Short-form video editing and creative direction

  • Educational Reels designed for discovery and shareability

  • Community management and audience engagement

  • Campaign support for a very special upcoming project

  • Monthly reporting, analytics, and strategic recommendations

  • Content systems that allow every episode, appearance, and seasonal moment to live beyond its original release

Each piece of content is designed to answer a simple question: How can we help more people garden comfortably, confidently, and for years to come?

The Outcome

GardenFit's social presence has evolved into an active extension of the brand—one that introduces new audiences to its mission while keeping longtime viewers engaged between television seasons.

Through thoughtful storytelling and consistent strategy, educational content has become highly shareable, helping GardenFit reach hundreds of thousands of gardeners while building a loyal, supportive online community.

More importantly, the digital experience now reflects what GardenFit has always stood for: making gardening accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for every body.
